Wonderful family is looking for a proactive and dedicated housekeeper to join their household and bring calm to the chaos. The ideal candidate is experienced, has a keen eye for detail, high standards, reliable, trustworthy and discreet.

Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning & maintenance.
  • Laundry and wardrobe management.
  • Room turnover & set‑up.
  • Managing household inventory and equipment.
  • Other tasks (e.g., outdoor work or cooking – negotiable) which may increase hours.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping.
  • 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and an updated Enhanced DBS registration.
  • At least 2 professional referees, one being current or most recent employer, both immediately contactable.
  • Driving licence (required).
  • Pet experience – one dog in the home.
  • Flexible to work 5 days a week, including Sundays.
  • Availability to start ASAP.
  • Willingness to use professional insurance & complete right‑to‑work checks.

Work Details:

  • Location: North East York.
  • Hours: 20‑25 per week, flexible for the right candidate.
  • Pay: £19 Gross per hour, negotiable based on experience.
  • Permanent position.
