Two Day, Live Out, Nanny, Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and nurturing nanny to join a warm, professional family in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, caring for their three-month-old baby.

This is a part-time role working two days per week, six hours per day, with days and hours flexible by mutual agreement. Ideally, the family would like something like 11.00–17.00 There may also be occasional additional hours by agreement, paid as overtime.

Working alongside the parents, the role will involve a combination of shared care and sole charge.

The family is looking for someone who is calm, confident and knowledgeable, with a genuine passion for babies and early childhood development. A warm, trustworthy, organised and proactive approach is essential, as is the desire to build a long-term relationship with the family.

You will play an important role in establishing and maintaining the baby’s routines, supporting healthy sleep habits and providing attentive, nurturing care. As the baby develops, you will introduce age-appropriate activities and stimulating experiences both at home and out and about.

Duties will include all aspects of baby care, including preparing and sterilising bottles, keeping the nursery and baby areas clean and organised, managing the baby’s laundry and maintaining clothing and equipment. As weaning approaches, you will prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks and support the baby through each stage of development.

The family employ a weekly cleaner, although some light child-related housekeeping and helping to keep the home running smoothly would be appreciated.

Pay: £12,480 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross per hour

For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of two professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters.
