A Fantastic Position for ASAP start. Sole Charge, Flexible, Discreet Nanny to do 2 or 3 days a week in Truro, Cornwall. The family needs a nanny to look after a 21‑month‑old young lady and to plan fun and educational activities that support developmental milestones, both inside and outside the home.
Responsibilities
- Look after a 21‑month‑old child, providing a safe and stimulating environment.
- Plan and carry out a variety of educational and play activities to meet developmental milestones.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as emptying and reloading the dishwasher and keeping play areas and the kitchen tidy.
- Maintain discretion, especially when parents work from home.
- Optionally travel with the family on holidays or business trips, if available.
Qualifications
- Childcare qualification such as Level 3, Montessori, or a diploma in childcare and education (NNEB).
- Enhanced DBS and 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate.
- Own car with business insurance and ability to drive.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience caring for children in this age group.
Working Hours and Days
9:00 am – 6:00 pm, with flexibility for additional hours. Family is flexible on days, excluding Mondays.
Location
Truro, Cornwall.
Pay
£25,272 per annum gross (approx. £18 per hour for three days per week, negotiable based on experience).
This is a permanent, long‑term position with sole charge. Volunteers who meet the qualifications and experience requirements are encouraged to apply.
