Part time Housekeeper in Timsbury

A lovely part time Housekeeper position has become available in Timsbury, near Bath.

This is the family’s 2nd home and they are looking for someone to keep the home clean and organised. Your duties will include laundry, ironing, cleaning, changing bedding, taking deliveries and running any necessary errands. The home is an old farmhouse sits on a large farm which is being developed as a Nature Restoration Scheme. The house is 5 bedrooms, kitchen and living area, office and with an apartment above the garage and a shepherds hut which will also require cleaning.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a private home, with at least 3 years housekeeping experience, someone trustworthy who the family can build a good, long term relationship with. A love of the countryside is a benefit being on the farm with lots of animals around such as horses, cows, pigs.

The family will be at the home most weekends and school holidays. You will need to be child friendly as the family have children (aged 1-8 years) and there may be occasions that you are required to babysit. The days and hours can be flexible when they are worked but ideally it would be over 2-3 days.
