Starting in September 2026, a fantastic term‑time‑only, live‑out nanny opportunity is available, working with a warm and professional family based in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on caring primarily for a three‑year‑old girl, with additional support for two older brothers who live with the family 50% of the time.

Schedule and Hours

Term time only for 34 weeks a year. Core hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 14:00–19:00, Tuesday and Thursday 09:00–19:00 (35 hours each week). Pay is distributed evenly across the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care for the little girl and support the two older brothers when they are home.
  • Provide a positive role model, facilitate homework and plan fun activities that all three children can enjoy.
  • Support daily routines: laundry, tidying the girl’s bedroom and play areas, preparing uniform for the next day.
  • Drop‑off and pick‑up older children’s activities when scheduled, typically one or two activities every other week.
  • Assist with light household duties (tidying kitchen, loading dishwasher, errands) as needed.
  • Prepare healthy, home‑cooked meals for the children following a meal plan if preferred.
  • Manage the little girl’s bathtime and keep areas tidy before handing over to parents.
  • Drive responsibly with a clean licence – a fully insured car will be provided.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum four years of relevant childcare experience; Level 3 childcare qualifications preferred.
  • Enhanced DBS (update) and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluency in French or Spanish is advantageous.
