A temporary nanny is sought to support a newlywed couple in creating a calm, holiday-like environment in their home following their wedding. The role involves caring for a friendly, happy, and social one-year-old girl, providing a nurturing and age-appropriate environment that supports her development and wellbeing. This is a unique opportunity to support a family in a relaxed, supportive, and special environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care and support for a one-year-old child, including nutrition, hygiene, and health monitoring.
  • Plan and lead daily activities such as outings to local attractions (farm parks, baby groups) and other stimulating experiences.
  • Support nap times, mealtimes, and all physical care routines in close collaboration with the parents.
  • Provide one overnight of care to allow the parents to enjoy a night away.
  • Work closely with the parents to maintain consistency and clear communication throughout the day.

Hours & Dates

  • Hours of work: 7 am – 7 pm with one overnight from 7 pm – 7 am.
  • Days required: Sunday 12th July 2026 – Thursday 16th July 2026.
  • Location: Near Droitwich, Worcestershire.

Compensation

£20 gross per hour.

Private live-in accommodation provided within the home: a bedroom with ensuite bathroom and separate living space for downtime. The family home is spacious and modern, with a lovely garden, outdoor living space, and a swimming pool.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years as a nanny.
  • Level 3 in childcare or above.
  • Up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 professional referees (one current or last employer, both immediately contactable).
  • Driving licence required.
