This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Practitioner with a childcare background and proven twin experience to support a family who have recently welcomed twin boys on a permanent basis. The twins are now 6 weeks old, thriving, and settling well into a routine. The family is seeking afternoon support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive care for the 6‑week‑old twin boys during afternoons (12:30 pm – 4:30 pm).
  • Assist with feeding (bottle‑fed every 3–4 hours).
  • Support the twins’ developmental milestones and promote sibling bonding with the 21‑month‑old daughter.
  • Implement safe sleep practices and follow current NHS guidance.
  • Adopt a proactive, nurturing approach to newborn care.
  • Assist with practical tasks, such as changing, soothing and keeping the twins active.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Maternity Practitioner / Childcare Level 3 (min).
  • 12‑hour First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Safeguarding L2.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Maternity Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Experience caring for twins or multiples preferred.
  • Driving licence and ability to travel to Storrington, West Sussex.

  • Contract: 1‑year minimum.
  • Location: Storrington, West Sussex.
  • Hourly rate: £25 per hour.
