A lovely family expecting their second baby in late January is looking for an experienced and compassionate Night Nanny to provide overnight support for approximately six months. Having been through the newborn stage before, the parents are well prepared but are looking for a knowledgeable professional who can offer reassurance, guidance, and practical support during the early months.
Their older child experienced reflux as a baby, so while they are hoping their newborn will not have the same challenges, they would value a candidate with experience supporting babies with reflux and feeding-related issues.
The ideal candidate will be fully up to date with current NHS guidance and safe sleep recommendations and will be confident caring for newborns throughout the night. They should be able to provide evidence-based advice on feeding techniques, support the family in establishing gentle, responsive routines, and offer calm, reassuring guidance tailored to the family’s individual needs.
The family is looking for someone who is warm, experienced, knowledgeable, and nurturing, with a gentle approach that will help them feel supported and confident during the first six months of their baby’s life.
The family are looking for flexible overnight support and would consider either six nights per week or a schedule of five nights per week and another candidate offering two nights.
