A lovely family in Stanford-Le-Hope, Southend-on-Sea is looking for a Part-time, Two-Day-Week sole charge nanny to start as soon as possible. The nanny will care for a 1-year-old child every Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, providing a fun, kind and supportive environment, engaging her in activities such as painting, music, walks and group activities. Light house-work (dishwasher, laundry, tidying) and preparation of healthy meals and snacks will also be required. The family has a friendly Labrador who often accompanies walks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care for a 1-year-old child.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities (art, music, reading, outdoor play).
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
- Perform light house-work (emptying dishwasher, laundry, tidying) during child’s naps.
- Walk the family’s Labrador on required occasions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years professional nanny experience caring for children under 2.
- A level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS certificate and 12-hour paediatric first-aid certificate prior to application.
- Desirable: Ability to drive (bonus) – not essential.
