A wonderful part time live-out nanny position has become available in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. You will be looking after two delightful little girls aged 4½ years and 16 months.
Hours: Monday 13:00-18:00, Wednesday 13:00-18:00 and Friday 08:00-18:00 (20 hours/week). This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
- General childcare for the children, including the children’s laundry and keeping their bedrooms and play areas organised and tidy.
- Nursery duties and helping to keep the house running smoothly alongside the weekly cleaner (kitchen tidy, dishwasher, occasional errands).
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children, preferably homemade; the house is dairy free; knowledge of weaning and potty training.
- Oversee bathtime and leave all used rooms tidy, ready for the parents to take over.
- Be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Minimum two years of experience; Level 3 childcare if possible, but experience essential.
Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire. Start date: ASAP.
Driving required: Yes – own car required; duty mileage to be paid.
Pay: £18,720 gross per annum; mutually agreed overtime paid at £18 gross per hour.
Pets in the home: No. This is a permanent role.
