The family are looking for an experienced and safe pair of hands to help them in the care of their two children aged 3 and 1 year. Both children currently attend nursery 4 days a week, but this is likely to decrease to 2 or 3 days once someone has started and got into the routine of the position. Baby experience is essential and someone who is used to managing a busy home is key. Both parents work full time and travel for work, so a nanny with sole charge and proxy parenting experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide childcare for the children, including supervision and ensuring their safety
- Plan and prepare meals for the children, ensuring balanced nutrition
- Provide fun and stimulating activities suitable for their ages
- Perform light household management tasks such as laundry, keeping the home tidy, clean, and organized
- Run errands, grocery shop, and make appointments for the children
- Proactively socialise the children by taking them to local groups, activities, and parks
Living Arrangements & Working Hours
This is a live‑in role (Monday to Friday) with your own bedroom and bathroom in the family home, with its own entrance to the garden. The role involves approximately 50 hours per week, with occasional overnight stays when both parents travel for work.

- Level 3 in child‑care or above preferred
- Good driving license – driving essential
Training & Certifications

- Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate (mandatory)

- Professional references – a minimum of two references, one of which must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable

£55,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
