Maternity practitioner needed in early October, based in London

First-time parents are looking for a supportive and experienced Maternity Practitioner to join their family following the arrival of their newborn, who is expected to be born early. The family would initially like support to allow them to rest and recover, while also gaining confidence and practical knowledge in caring for their baby. A gentle, encouraging approach is important, particularly in supporting Mum with her chosen feeding method and helping the family establish suitable routines that work for them. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for low birth weight babies and slow feeders, with a good understanding of safer sleep practices and current NHS guidelines. The family are keen to find someone who will work alongside them as part of a team. This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Nurse who enjoys empowering first-time parents and providing calm, knowledgeable support during those precious early weeks. Due date:26th October 2026 Job Start Date: Early October 2026 Contract End: 2 weeks/14 days only Location: Westbourne grove, London Gross 24 hourly Rate: £350pd gross Hours of work: 20hrs +4 hr break Nights / Days required: up to 6 days a week Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum).
