Responsibilities
- Work 12-hour night shifts for the first two weeks, then transition to 10-hour shifts for the remaining two weeks.
- Provide care, support and education to the parents during the night.
- Assist with feeding, sleep routines and safe sleep practices.
- Ensure a calm environment and help parents rest.
Requirements
- Qualified Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the role.
- 12-hour First Aid, Enhanced DBS and Maternity Practitioner qualifications.
- Relatable knowledge, adaptable, discreet, empathetic.
- 5 mid-week nights including Sunday required.
- Self-employed; must issue own contract and UTR number to clients at offer stage.
- Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of whom must be a current or last employer.
- Up-to-date Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
- Appropriate personal insurance recommended.
