This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing nanny to join a family with two young children, aged 1 and 2 years old. The role is two days per week and starts in April 2026. The family are looking for a gentle, nurturing nanny who will be with them long term and become part of their family. The family live in the countryside near Malmesbury, Wiltshire. This is a sole charge, live-out position.

The family enjoys the outdoors and nature. The ideal candidate will be capable of planning trips with the children, keeping them active and engaged. They are staying in a village house while renovating a large farmhouse nearby, with plans to move in by the end of the year.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out all nursery duties, including preparing meals and children’s laundry.
  • Be comfortable with pets; the family currently has a dog and may have more animals after moving to the farmhouse.
  • Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and outings to keep the children active and engaged.
  • Support the family in a warm, nurturing, and long-term role as part of the household.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with young children.
  • 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
  • Up-to-date enhanced DBS (preferably registered on the Update Service).
  • Clean driving licence; ability to drive is required.

Hours: 20 hours per week, 8am – 6pm with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Days: Tuesday and Friday.

Location: Near Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Pay: £17,680 gross per annum based on 20 hours per week.
