Job Summary

A lovely family is looking for a warm, caring and experienced Nanny to join their household and care for their delightful two‑year‑old boy.

The role will primarily involve collecting him from nursery at 12:30pm and caring for him through the afternoon until 6:00pm, with some flexibility to stay until 6:30pm when needed.

An early morning drop‑off to nursery on Monday and Friday mornings, from approximately 7:30am to 8:30am, is also required.

Total working hours are approximately 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Collect child from nursery and drop him off as scheduled.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the child’s development.
  • Organise age‑appropriate activities, outings and engaging play.
  • Support daily routines, including potty training, mealtimes and sleep schedules.
  • Prepare the child’s dinner and ensure healthy meals.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties on a limited basis, if desired.

Qualifications

  • Previous professional childcare experience with toddlers.
  • Excellent references from former employers.
  • First Aid and Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable, kind, proactive and genuine passion for working with children.

  • Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday & Friday mornings plus Mon‑Fri 12:30‑6 pm.
  • Pay: £31,200 gross per annum.
