An experienced and compassionate maternity night nanny is required to support second-time parents for a two-week period with their six-month-old baby.

This is a returning client who previously worked with a maternity night nanny and is now looking for overnight support again.

Their baby is thriving, settled into a gentle routine and is described as very content.

The family would value a knowledgeable, confident and reassuring candidate who can offer professional guidance while being respectful of the family’s established routines and parenting style.

The ideal candidate will have experience caring for babies of a similar age, be up to date with current childcare and safer sleep guidelines, and provide calm, attentive support tailored to the baby’s individual needs.

Having worked with the agency previously, the family is looking forward to welcoming the right professional into their home for this short-term placement.

  • Job Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract End Date: 2 weeks approx.
  • Location: Lambeth, South London
  • Gross hourly Rate: £25ph gross
  • Hours of work: 10pm - 7am or 9pm -6am
  • Days required: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights
  • Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
  • Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
  • Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).

It is usual for Maternity Nurses and Consultants to be self-employed, and you will be required to issue your own contract for services and Unique Tax Reference number to our clients at offer stage.

Please note Maternity Nurse and Newborn Care titles are industry terms, not protected medical titles.

We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (maternity practitioner insurance / consultant insurance).
