This is a first-time mum and dad who are very hands-on and devoted to their child, but both have demanding careers and would value the support of a calm and capable nanny to help create a smooth and happy daily routine at home. Their little boy is a happy, healthy baby who especially enjoys books, music, sounds, and sensory play. They would love someone who will engage him in a gentle, stimulating, and nurturing way while supporting his development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide child care for a young baby boy, focusing on safe nurturing and developmental stimulation.
- Engage the child in gentle, stimulating activities such as reading books, playing music, and sensory play.
- Assist with routine daily care and health checks, maintaining a calm and supportive environment.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the child and shared living areas: keeping things tidy, helping with the dishwasher, running the hoover over shared spaces.
- Maintain a naturally organized and proactive approach, keeping the child’s care and well-being as priority.
Requirements:
- Childcare experience required.
- Up-to-date First Aid certificate and enhanced DBS registration.
- Professional references: at least two, one current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
- Professional nanny insurance preferred.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule of 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Thursday.
