Overview

Wonderful family are seeking an experienced and proactive housekeeper / nanny. While the main job will be housekeeping, the family would also like someone who could provide before and after school care for two delightful boys. During school holidays the routine will change with the main job being caring for the boys, also if the boys do not attend school because of illness.

The family is looking for someone who can run their own routine and has lots of initiative to see a task and complete it. They require the housekeeper to organise the home, run errands, wash, iron, prepare meals and oversee the day to day running of the household. Reliability and trustworthiness are essential. The role is on Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30 to 5.30 +/- 30 minutes.

• Run own routine and manage household tasks
• Organise the home and keep it tidy
• Run errands, wash, iron and prepare meals
• Oversee day‑to‑day running of the household
• Provide before and after school care for two boys, and care during holidays or illness

• Days: Tuesday and Thursday
• Hours: 7.30 – 5.30 +/- 30 minutes
• Start Date: September 2026
• Pay: £18,720 Gross per Hour
• Contract: Permanent

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of nanny / housekeeping experience
• Enhanced DBS certificate and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid
• Driving licence (essential)
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Customer references: one current/last employer and one other professional referee, both immediately contactable
