3 day week Nanny Housekeeper Kidlington Oxfordshire

Overview

This busy professional family are looking for an experienced sole charge Nanny/Housekeeper to help run their busy large home in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. They have a son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 years old, and the son has nut and sesame allergies so they will train the nanny to use an EpiPen.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping, dog walking (puppy), ironing, washing, errands, bed changing, cleaning, food prep
• Mon to Wed: 9am-5pm; Thursday off; Friday off; occasional Saturdays (about 7 per year) with plenty of notice; duties include drop-offs when Mum is available and when Dad is away traveling
• Mon: housekeeping, dog walking, ironing, washing, errands, bed changing, cleaning, food prep 9am-5pm
• Tuesday: same as Monday 9am-5pm
• Wednesday: 9am-8pm with additional pick-up at 5:20pm and 6pm, and dinner preparation
• During holidays, engage with children, boundary setting when needed
• Dog sitting if the family is away; dog cannot join them on trips

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience working with children of the same age
• Childcare qualifications not essential for this role
• Driver: Yes
• Pets: one friendly puppy
• DBS update service up-to-date and a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer that are immediately contactable

Pay and start

Pay: £20-£25 gross an hour (approximately £28,080-£35,100 based on 3 days a week). Role is to start in April 2026. This is a permanent Nanny/Housekeeper position.
