Housekeeper for family home in Dorrington, Shropshire

A family living in a large, beautiful home in Shropshire are seeking an experienced, reliable and
meticulous Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their household.
The family are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to
detail and enjoys maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home. They follow an organic,
non-UPF and non-toxic lifestyle, so it is important that the successful candidate is comfortable
working within these principles and using the family’s preferred products and methods.
The role will involve the day-to-day care of the home, including vacuuming and mopping floors,
maintaining the kitchen, tidying bedrooms and play areas, laundry, meal preparation, ironing and changing bed linen and towels. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen organised, unpacking the weekly groceries, watering plants and cleaning and sterilising baby bottles.
The family would ideally like someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently,
with a warm and discreet approach to working in a private family home.

Location of the job: Dorrington, Shropshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience in a private household
Hours of work: 9am – 2pm
Days required: 1-2 days a week – suggested days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Job Start Date: ASAP
Emergency Temporary Position: 28th September – 2nd October Monday – Friday
Pay: £20gross per hour

For all Household Staff roles you must have an up-to-date Basic DBS on the update service, and
where there are children and the vulnerable in the workplace you must have an up-to-date
Enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service and a minimum of 2
professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One
