Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day‑to‑day care of the children.
- Helping with nursery runs if required.
- Planning fun, age‑appropriate activities and play.
- Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas and laundry organised.
- Providing extra support around the home to help the household run smoothly, including simple chores such as emptying the dishwasher and running errands.
- Supporting the parents during busy periods while encouraging the children’s development and independence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Warm, caring and reliable.

- Days and hours: Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑17:00 (40 hours per week), with additional ad‑hoc hours and babysitting to be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
- Pay: £33,280 gross per annum, with overtime at £16 gross per hour.
- Permanent position.
- Pets: One dog and one cat.
- Driving: Yes – duty car available (clean licence required).
- Minimum experience required: Two years.
- Training required: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid.
- Qualifications: Level 3 childcare advantageous.
