Responsibilities
- Core childcare on Wednesday and Thursday 11 am – 5/6 pm: sole charge of 4-month-old baby, nurturing, stimulating environment, planning activities, feeding, supervising naps, diaper changes, walks, and age-appropriate baby classes.
- On Monday and Friday 11 am – 5/6 pm: light housekeeping – laundry, ironing, folding, crockery, restocking cupboards and dishwasher, running errands, PA duties, hoovering and wiping surfaces. Basic maintenance while the mother is away.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as nanny with additional housekeeping duties.
- Level 3 or above in childcare and 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate.
- Two professional referees, one current or last employer, contactable immediately.
- Reliable, trustworthy, confident, caring, and willing for a long-term position.
- License to drive; provision of a nanny car on duty with optional personal car use.
- Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays (ad-hoc babysitting) and join occasional family holidays.
Job Details
- Location: Havant, PO9
- Hours: 11 am – 5/6 pm (up to 28 contracted hours per week). Preferred schedule: Wed & Thu core childcare, or Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri (4 days).
- Payment: Up to £20 gross per hour; maximum salary guideline £29,120 gross per annum for full 4-day schedule.
