Position URGENT – Temporary Live‑Out Nanny – Twins – Hastings, East Sussex

Provide childcare for two 6‑year‑old twins (boy & girl) from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th June (inclusive). Duties include supervising the twins outside and indoors, preparing snacks and meals, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment, and supporting the children through a variety of activities.

Responsibilities
  • Arrive at 12:00 am each day to begin a full day of care ending at 8 pm.
  • Plan and lead fun, age‑appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Prepare and offer snacks and meals, and maintain tidy play, sleeping, and eating areas.
  • Monitor and support the twins, including the boy diagnosed with asthma and autism, while keeping him active and comfortable.
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of professional nanny experience specifically with 5‑8 year‑old children.
  • Childcare qualification preferred (e.g., Level 2 or higher junior childcare). Extensive experience can be considered in place of a qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS and a current 12‑hour paediatric first‑aid certificate.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Knowledge of asthma and autism care or willingness to learn.
Working Conditions
  • Location: Hastings, East Sussex.
  • Work hours: 12 am – 8 pm (flexible within the 19‑hour window, 6‑day shift).
  • Duration: 4 full days (Thursday 11th — Sunday 14th June).
  • Payment: £640 gross total for the four days (or £20 per hour depending on experience).
  • Position is temporary, live‑out with the family’s accommodation located locally.
  • Car not required for the role.
