Responsibilities
- The nanny should be hands-on, flexible, fun and energetic, not afraid to go outside with the children in any weather, and to have fun.
- Plan age-appropriate educational activities to help the children grow and develop.
- Be child-focused and nurture the children through their childhood years.
- Nursery duties: laundry, changing beds, nursery runs, preparing meals and keeping the children’s areas clean and tidy.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS certificate and paediatric first aid certificate; DBS should be up-to-date and registered on the update service.
- Minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details; one reference must be current or last employer and both must be immediately contactable.
- Appropriate personal insurance recommended.
- Right to work checks; usually conducted in person, but video call registrations and digital right to work checks via a certified IDSP may be considered in certain circumstances.
