We are looking for a very special nanny to care for our two young boys, aged 4 years and 18 months old. The child's mother is currently in hospice care. The position is full‑time, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm, with a long‑term expectation until 2030.
Responsibilities
- Caring for both young boys, including gentle, consistent and reliable support.
- School drop‑offs and pick‑ups for the 4‑year‑old (starting September).
- Daycare and supervision of the 18‑month‑old throughout the day.
- Preparing meals and snacks.
- Planning and leading age‑appropriate activities and play.
- Managing children’s laundry and beds.
- Organising play areas and keeping the home tidy (cleaning duties not required).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3 or above in early years/childcare.
- Minimum 2 years of nanny experience with similar‑aged children.
- Current enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Minimum of two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer and all must be immediately contactable.
- Own car and willingness to use it for child transport (fuel reimbursed).
Working Hours & Compensation
- Hours: 8 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (47.5 hours per week).
- Permanent role.
- Start date: 27 July 2026.
- Pay: £18gph, £44,460 gross per annum.
