They are looking for a long-term nanny housekeeper who will become a trusted, valued part of the household – someone who genuinely enjoys being with children and takes pride in a well run home. The role is full time and can be offered as live-in or live-out for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide childcare for four children, 9, 7, 5, and 3 years old.
- Manage household laundry and ironing.
- Perform daily housekeeping and household organisation.
- Prepare occasional meals.
- Occasional proxy parenting and overnights may be requested.
- Collaborate closely with the parents, sharing responsibility for the children and household.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a nanny or housekeeper.
- Up-to-date 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Up-to-date enhanced eDBS.
- Professional references: 2 referees, one current or last employer, both contactable.
- Clean driving licence – driving is required.
- Pet‑friendly – one cat and a dog may join the household.
- Willingness to work near Shaftesbury, Dorset.

Registration interviews and right‑to‑work checks are normally conducted face‑to‑face, but under certain circumstances we may consider video call registrations and digital right‑to‑work checks via a certified digital identity service provider (IDSP).
