A warm and approachable family are seeking an experienced nanny to care for their 15‑month‑old toddler. The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for toddlers and will demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and confident demeanour. This individual will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of care, ensuring the well‑being and development of the toddler.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the toddler’s daily routine, including feeding times and preparing nutritious meals.
  • Oversee general nursery duties, ensuring the environment remains safe, clean, and stimulating.
  • Engage the toddler in activities that foster early childhood development such as playtime, walks to enjoy fresh air and nature, attending local groups, and organising outings to encourage socialisation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification; experience with infants is advantageous.
  • Valid 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a fully insured vehicle; duty mileage will be paid.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday to Wednesday: 7:00 am – 9:00 am and 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
  • Thursday to Friday: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (flexible)
  • Term‑time only position, Monday‑Friday.
  • Pay: £18.00 gross per hour / £32,292.00 gross per annum.
  • Permanent position.

Location

Near Framlingham, Suffolk – rural countryside location with ample outdoor space.
