This varied role is available for a friendly professional family for a Nanny Housekeeper to work Monday‑Friday. The right candidate will be proactive, positive, and full‑time in charge of the children. The children are ages one year and three years old. Both children attend nursery 4 days a week; the hours are 8 am–12 pm and 4:30 pm–6 pm.

The main daily tasks include nursery runs and pick‑ups (which are very close by), food prep for the children, usual housekeeping duties and cleaning, laundry, bed‑changing and keeping the home organised and well run. One day a week (Thursday) the hours are 8 am–6 pm and the focus is fully on the children, organising age‑appropriate activities, taking them to the park, engaging with them and keeping them safe and happy within their routine.

Responsibilities
  • Proactive and positive care of children aged 1 and 3 years.
  • Supervise nursery runs and pick‑ups.
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the children.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties: cleaning, laundry, bed‑changing, and organising the home.
  • Plan and execute age‑appropriate activities during Thursday full‑day shift.
  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing during all activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years working with children of similar age and in a similar role.
  • Childcare qualifications essential.
  • Up‑to‑date DBS on the Update Service.
  • 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be current or last employer.
  • First‑time applicants must be able to obtain the above certificates.
Working Conditions
  • Location: Finchampstead, Berkshire.
  • Days: Monday‑Friday.
  • Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week.
  • Pay: £18‑£20 gross per hour.
  • Driver’s licence not essential.
