Emergency Temporary Housekeeper, Dorrington, Shropshire

A welcoming family based in Shropshire are looking for an experienced Temporary Housekeeper to provide additional support in their busy household while the husband recovers from surgery.
This is an ideal opportunity for a capable and adaptable housekeeper who is able to step into a home and quickly establish themselves, working confidently with minimal supervision.
The family are looking for someone practical, organised and naturally proactive, who can anticipate what needs doing and ensure the household continues to run smoothly.
The role will include general housekeeping across the home, including cleaning, vacuuming and mopping, meal preparation, laundry and ironing, changing bed linen and towels, keeping the kitchen organised, unpacking groceries and maintaining the baby’s areas. You will also be responsible for cleaning and sterilising baby bottles and ensuring the home remains tidy and well presented.
The family live an organic, non-UPF and non-toxic lifestyle, and the successful candidate should be comfortable following their preferred approach to household products, cleaning and food.
Discretion, reliability and a positive attitude are essential. The family are looking for someone who can offer hands‑on support and take the initiative, making this a valuable role during a temporary period of additional need.

Hours of work: 9am – 2pm
Days required Monday – Friday

Emergency Temporary Position: 28th September – 2nd October
Pay: £20gross per hour
