A wonderful, welcoming family are looking for a proactive, child-focused, happy and helpful Nanny 3 days a week, ideally on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8am to 6pm. A really fabulous role being part of a joyful family, supporting working parents with both shared and sole charge of the children.
For this magical role, you need to have strong childcare experience as a Nanny. The children will be 5 months‑old and 4 years‑old from September when the 4 year‑old will be starting school. The family do travel regularly (mainly Ibiza) and preferably would love their Nanny to travel with them, but this is not a necessity.
Duties- Light housekeeping and nursery duties (cleaners also employed)
- Preparing meals for the children
- An Ocado shop
- Caring for the children’s laundry and sorting their clothes seasonally
- Keeping the children’s areas organised, clean and tidy
- Planning fun, age‑appropriate activities inside and outside, encouraging role play and lots of reading, arranging friends to play and presents for parties
- Doing the school runs to Cranleigh, and any clubs (maybe shared with Mum)
- Helping maintain a calm and happy day for the children, supporting their routine and being genuinely engaged with them and their development
- Is an enthusiastic, friendly person who shines as a Nanny and when with children; who enjoys an active family life and loves being in the countryside too
- Has solid childcare experience with babies, pre‑school and school‑aged children
- Is organised, reliable with good initiative
- Is happy to babysit occasionally, as overtime
