Overview
A warm, busy and organized family based in Cobham, Surrey is seeking an exceptional Live-in Family Assistant / House Manager to support the smooth running of both family life and a substantial private residence.
Responsibilities
- Care for the two children aged 11 and 13 years, attending school and providing schedule coordination.
- Coordinate household organization, presenting, and practical day-to-day coordination, maintaining exceptional household standards; no cleaning duties.
- Anticipate needs, maintain structure, and support busy family life efficiently behind the scenes.
- Provide emotional support to children and family; care for the family dog.
- Accompany the family on travel, primarily to America.
- Support the self-contained 1‑bedroom apartment with living area, kitchen, and bathroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in family support or house management.
- Childcare qualification.
- First Aid Certificate (preferably 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid).
- Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- Professional references: at least two; one must be current or last employer; both immediately contactable.
- Driving licence and willingness to drive.
