Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-presented home.
- Daily tidying of living spaces and kitchen reset.
- Vacuum high-traffic areas and light mopping as needed.
- Wipe surfaces and maintain general cleanliness.
- Empty rubbish and manage recycling.
- Laundry including occasional ironing.
- Weekly deeper cleaning:
- Thorough cleaning of bathrooms.
- Mopping floors.
- Dusting skirting boards and less frequently used areas.
- Changing bed linens.
- Rotating deeper kitchen cleaning (fridge wipe-down, cupboards, etc.).
- Support with family and household admin such as grocery shopping, running errands, cooking meals or batch cooking.
- Provide occasional light support around children (5-year-old and baby due in July) when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience.
- Some childcare experience.
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (minimum 12 hours).
- Up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate.
- Professional references: minimum 2 referees, one current or last employer, both immediately contactable.
- Driving licence (essential).
- Ability to work independently, discreet, trustworthy, proactive, calm presence around children, highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working 20-25 hours per week, Monday–Friday, ideally 2/3 pm–7/8 pm.
Location: Tarlton, Cirencester. Pets in the home: present.
