A wonderful, down to earth and fun family living in Chobham, Surrey are looking for an afterschool nanny for 3 days a week, including Tuesday but flexible on other days. They have two active children, aged 2 and 4. Their son will start school in September; the job requires a driver with their own car to make a quick 5‑minute drive to school and the nursery on the way back. The family is laid back, values boundaries and manners. The ideal candidate will be engaging, active and love working with children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide afterschool care for a 2‑year‑old and a 4‑year‑old.
  • Prepare and cook meals for the children.
  • Manage the children’s evening routine.
  • Transport the children to and from school/nursery, using own car.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience caring for children.
  • Childcare qualification.
  • Current first–aid or 12‑hour paediatric first‑aid certificate.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Two professional referees, one of whom must be current or former employer and must be contactable.
  • Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Availability: 3 pm – 7 pm on Tuesday plus two other days.

Hours & Salary:

  • Hours: 3 pm – 7 pm, 3 days a week.
  • Pay: £20 gross per hour.
  • Permanent position.
