A lovely family are looking for an experienced nanny housekeeper to join them and really become part of the family, on either a live in or live out basis. The family have a delightful 3 year old little boy, who loves to learn and craft. He is in preschool 4 days a week and will start school in September. During the holidays the main responsibilities will be the care of the little boy.
Responsibilities:
- Care for the 3‑year‑old boy, including supervision during preschool and school hours.
- General housekeeping duties: shopping, cleaning, washing, light cooking, laundry, and maintaining the household.
- School runs where required, support for school activities.
- Dog care: walk and care of a friendly large dog.
- Assist parents with their busy schedule and perform additional household tasks as needed.
Working Hours & Accommodations:
- 30‑40 hours a week, flexible (early mornings or evenings).
- Mainly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.
- Live in or live out options.
- Live in accommodation includes a large bedroom with living space, and a separate annex style space with an en‑suite.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years nanny/housekeeping experience.
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- 12‑Hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Valid driving licence.
- Minimum of 2 professional referees, including the current or last employer.
- Knowledge of Asian/Indian culture desirable but not essential.
- Happy and confident with dogs.
Location & Pay:
- Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire.
- Hours: 35‑40 hours flexible throughout the week.
- Days: Monday – Friday (some weekends required).
- Pay: £16 Gross per Hour live out / £15 Gross per Hour live in.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Permanent position.
Additional Information:
This role is suitable for a candidate who has a can‑do attitude and initiative to see what needs doing and do it. The family run their own business which is very busy, meaning no two weeks are the same, so flexibility is required. The family are looking to move locally to the Bingley, Baildon or surrounding area, and the nanny/housekeeper will have their own annex space. The job is permanent.
