A warm, welcoming family based in West Yorkshire are seeking an experienced and proactive Nanny/Housekeeper. This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a family environment, taking pride in creating a calm and organised household for a busy young family.

The family have a 3-year-old boy who loves learning and enjoys creative play. He currently attends preschool and will be starting school in September. Both parents run a fast-paced business, meaning the home environment benefits from someone who is naturally organised, adaptable, and takes initiative.

This is a varied position combining childcare and household management. The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring everything is smooth, organised, and well cared for.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with school/preschool routines and holiday childcare (Housekeeping will be the main duties when the little boy is at school, but during school holidays priority will shift to supporting Mum and Dad with childcare)
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home
  • Keeping on top of washing, ironing, and fresh bed changes
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Light, healthy meal preparation
  • Occasional dog care (friendly, well-loved family dog) - Note: No dog walking required.

This role would suit someone who is proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys bringing a sense of calm and structure to a home.

For live-in candidates, a large studio style bedroom is provided, in a private area of the house, with plans for a bespoke private annex-style space with en-suite as the family plans to relocate locally to the Bingley/Baildon area within the next 12 months.

Location of the job: West Yorkshire

Minimum experience Level for this job: 5 Years Nanny / Housekeeping experience

Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS / 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid

Hours of work: 35-40 Hours

Days required: Monday – Friday with occasional weekend support/evening babysitting which will be managed with plenty of notice.

Pets in the home: Yes, a very friendly but large dog.

Driving required: Yes Essential – Option to discuss car provided in package

Job Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £16 Gross per Hour Live out / £15 Gross per Hour Live in

This is a permanent job.
