Part time Nanny in Bradford-on-Avon

Overview

Part-time Nanny position in Bradford on Avon. A chilled and welcoming family of four are looking for a Nanny to assist with after school duties for a 4‑year‑old and an 18‑month‑old. The ideal candidate will be friendly, become part of the family, and have a muck‑in attitude. The primary focus is after‑school hours, but extra hours may be offered for tea preparation, laundry, and dog walking.

Responsibilities

• School pick‑ups and drop‑offs
• Preparing meals for the children
• Sole charge of the 18‑month‑old on Friday mornings, providing age‑appropriate activities and engaging in play
• Assisting with extra duties such as tea preparation, laundry, and walking the dog as required
• Additional hours may be available during school holidays

Work Hours & Schedule

Wednesday and Thursday 2:30‑5:30pm, Friday 8:00‑1:00pm. Permanent position. There may be more hours in the school holidays if required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of childcare experience
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (12‑hour)
• Level 3 childcare qualification preferred but not essential
• Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service
• At least 2 professional referees, one of whom is a current or former employer, with contact details immediately available for sharing
• Driving required – must use own car; a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate is also mandatory
• Ability to care for a family with a 1‑dog pet

Compensation & Location

£18 gross per hour. Location: Bradford on Avon.
