A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced live-out housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family in Billericay, Essex, helping to care for their beautiful family home. The family seeks a proactive, dedicated housekeeper who can bring calm and organisation to their busy household and maintain a tidy home to high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, bed changing and deep cleaning duties as required.
  • Grocery shopping, running household errands and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the family.
  • Childcare support for the family’s 3‑year‑old child, including supervising play, supporting established routines and ensuring a safe, caring and nurturing environment.
  • Driving duties: the role requires the ability to drive, a clean driving licence and a fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a live-out housekeeping role.
  • Strong communicator, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
  • Organised, trustworthy and a pleasure to be around.
  • Must possess a clean driving licence and have your own fully insured car.
  • Must hold an up‑to‑date Basic DBS on the update service.
  • For roles with children, must have an up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Minimum of two professional referees, one being the current or last employer, both immediately contactable.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: £19–£22 Gross per hour, depending on experience (£44,460.00–£51,480.00 Gross per annum).
  • Benefits: Generous benefits package available, including subsidised gym membership and a range of excellent employee benefits.

  • Location: Billericay, Essex.
  • Hours of work: 9am – 6pm.
  • Days required: Monday – Friday.
