A delightful family based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an exceptional nanny to join their household on a fixed-term basis from mid-August 2026 until the end of June 2027. This position is to provide maternity cover for their much-loved current nanny and offers the opportunity to become an integral part of a warm, welcoming family.
The successful candidate will provide attentive care and support for three delightful boys aged 10, 6, and 4, while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideally suited to an experienced childcare professional who is organised, proactive, energetic, and genuinely passionate about supporting children and family life.
Schedule
Term Time (36 weeks):
- Mon – 07.30-09.30, returning at 15.00-20.00 Additional paid two hours each day to help keep the children organised – laundry, keeping their bedrooms/playroom organised, meal prep, etc. These hours can be added to either session to suit the nanny.
- Tue – 07.30-09.30, returning at 15.00-17.00
- Thu – 07.30-09.30, returning at 15.00-20.00
- Total: 24 hours/week
School Holidays (10 weeks):
- Mon – 07.30-20.00
- Tue – 07.30-17.00
- Thu – 07.30-20.00
- Total: 34.5 hours/week
Salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments throughout the duration of the contract. Additional babysitting and occasional extra hours may be available by mutual agreement and will be paid separately.
Responsibilities
- Collecting the children from school and nursery and transporting them safely to clubs, activities, and appointments.
- Managing the children’s laundry and ironing.
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play spaces, wardrobes, and belongings organised and well maintained.
- Preparing school uniforms, sports kits, bags, and everything required for the following day.
- Supporting homework and fostering positive routines and good habits.
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Assisting with the general organisation of the family home, including keeping communal areas tidy, unloading the dishwasher, and putting away shopping.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum experience required: Two years.
- Level 3 childcare qualification preferred but experience essential.
- Enhanced DBS (updated) and 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid certificates required.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a fully insured vehicle essential; mileage incurred will be reimbursed.
- Must be able to organise activities during term time and school holidays.
- Strong organisational, proactive, energetic and genuinely passionate about supporting children and family life.

- Pay: £24,180 gross per annum plus overtime at £20 per hour.
