This family are looking for an organised and discreet Housekeeper to join them on a long term basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience of working within a private home as a Housekeeper who is able to use their initiative, work independently and be a reliable and trustworthy addition to the family home. They are looking for someone who can take ownership of managing the home and ensuring it is kept clean, tidy and organised. It is essential that you take pride in your work and maintain the home to a high standard.
Your duties will be full housekeeping including:
- Cleaning of the home
- All laundry and ironing
- Wardrobe management
- Organising and tidying all areas of the home
- Putting away grocery and food deliveries
- If you are a keen cook, preparing family meals
They would like the Housekeeper to house and dog sit whilst they travel although this is not essential. The family has three children so there may be the occasional help required but the priority of this role is the housekeeping. They live in a large 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom home on 3 floors, on the outskirts of Bath (Weston Village). They also have a dog, hamster and tortoise which may need occasional care/feeding.

Requirements
For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance).
