First-time parents are looking for an experienced maternity professional to provide overnight support following the arrival of their baby, who is expected in mid-December and may be born via C-section. The family would ideally like support to begin as soon as possible after the birth, then in January and a few nights in February.
They are looking for someone who can provide calm, knowledgeable guidance and reassurance during the early weeks, ideally for 1-2 nights per week. Mum is hoping to breastfeed but is keen to remain open to whatever works best for the baby and the family.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with newborns, up to date with current NHS guidance and safer sleep practices, and confident in supporting new parents as they find their feet. The family are keen to build a positive, collaborative relationship with their maternity professional. They would value someone who can keep them informed about their baby’s development and upcoming milestones, offering advice and guidance while allowing them to make their own decisions.
They are looking for a true team player who will support and empower them rather than take over. This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced maternity professional who enjoys working closely with first-time parents and helping them feel confident in the early stages of parenthood.
