Full time Norland Nanny Abingdon Oxfordshire

Job Summary

This warm professional family are looking for a sole charge nanny who can start ASAP for their twins who are just under two years old in Abingdon Oxfordshire. The role is Monday - Friday and they are looking for the Nanny to work a 50-hour week with a salary of £50,000- £60,000 gross per annum. They are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with young children who is patient, empathic and can engage with them through toddler groups, and activities locally integrating them into the community. Their ideal Nanny would be a fully qualified and experienced Norland Nanny (or Chiltern trained Nanny), native English speaker, who is passionate about early childhood education and development. Calm, kind, emotionally intelligent and highly organized. Able to establish clear routines and healthy boundaries while maintaining a warm and nurturing relationship with the twins encouraging curiosity and independence. Professional, discreet, trustworthy and dependable and comfortable working collaboratively with highly involved parents, and interested in remaining with one family for several years as this is a long term role. This role can be live in or live out.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Experience Level: 2+ years working with children of the same age and in a similar role.
• Training and Qualifications: Norland or Chiltern qualifications essential.
• Native English speaker.
• Calm, kind, emotionally intelligent and highly organized.

Eligibility & Compliance

For all roles with children and the vulnerable you must have an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate which is registered on the update service, a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate and a minimum of 2 professional referees who are happy for you to share their contact details to our recruiters. One of your references must be your current or last employer and both references must be immediately contactable. We also recommend that you have appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance). Whilst we usually undertake all registration interviews and right to work checks in person face to face, we will in certain circumstances consider video call registrations and digital right to work checks via a certified digital identity service provider (IDSP).
