A delightful and down to earth Norwegian family relocating to London after spending the past three years in Norway are looking for a warm, dedicated, and proactive nanny to join them from early September. This is a fixed-term position for one year, based near Sloane Square.
Schedule: Three fixed days per week, 9am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday flexible. No driving required.
Responsibilities:
- Care for the 2‑year‑old son during daytime and support the 5‑year‑old sister after school and during holidays.
- Plan engaging, educational days—trips to parks, museums, children’s classes and playgroups.
- Support the youngest child's language development naturally through play and conversation.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Keep children’s areas tidy, handle children’s laundry, and organise toys.
- Collect children from school or nursery when required.
- Occasionally provide babysitting or pre‑arranged extra hours.
No pets, no travel with the family, and no boarding required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a nanny or in a similar role.
- eDBS (Enhanced DBS) certificate and 12‑hour paediatric first aid qualification.
- Must have up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS, 12‑hour paediatric first aid and be able to provide at least two professional referees, one of whom is a current or former employer.
- Professional nanny insurance is recommended.
Location: Sloane Square, London.
Job Dates: Start: 1 September 2026. End: September 2027.
Pay: £22 gross per hour (£24,024 gross per annum).
