A super opportunity has arisen in Bristol for a warm and nurturing Nanny to help this welcoming family care for their 1 year old son. The family are looking for a Nanny who has a good knowledge of the EYFS to support their child to thrive in his development and learning. The ideal person will be patient, have a good work ethic, passionate about their career in Early Years and be kind but still able to set boundaries (alongside the parents) when needed.
The parents would like the Nanny to carry out activities which are mainly child led, spending time outdoors is important to them and they like the Montessori approach. They prefer their child to be having fun and being stimulated through creative activities rather than having any screen time. Mum is bilingual and speaks Korean and English to the child.
Your duties will be all child related but someone who is happy to muck in when required and is not afraid to use their initiative to keep the home tidy and running smoothly. Cooking healthy meals is important to the family so confidence in cooking nutritious and balanced meals is essential. You will need to be comfortable around dogs and cats as they have one of each. The dog is a large dog but is very friendly. Someone who would be happy to walk her occasionally would be great.
They would like to find someone who is looking for a long term position and able to grow with them as a family. This is a permanent position.
