The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

The ideal candidate will be fun, active, enjoy being outdoors and engaging. They are looking for someone to work Tuesday-Saturday or 4 afternoons plus Saturday or Sunday for 5 hours. One of the days will need to be a Wednesday and this will be a later finish of 10:30pm along with one other evening being a 10/10:30pm finish. They would also like someone who is happy to carry out overnight/proxy parenting 2-3 times a month. During the school holidays it would be the same hours but an earlier start/finish time.

The little boy has a sunny character and is affectionate, who loves books and singing and loves running outside, water play and climbing. He is very active and enjoys being outdoors. He attends nursery, weekdays, 9am-3pm during term time.

Your duties will be purely child related. A driver is not essential but is useful to go on day trips with him in the holidays and they have membership to Slimbridge and Westonbirt which the boy enjoys visiting. They are looking for a minimum of 6-9 months but this could be extended dependent on the family's circumstances.

Responsibilities
  • Provide care and supervision for the child in line with the family’s routines and needs.
  • Support outdoor play, reading, singing, and activities such as water play and climbing.
  • Be available for evening shifts, with specified late finishes on Wednesdays and one other evening.
  • Occasional overnight/proxy parenting 2-3 times per month.
  • Occasionally accompany the child on day trips during holidays (driver not essential).
  • Adhere to the family’s schedule during school holidays with earlier start/finish times as needed.
