A family of four are relocating to Bath and looking for a kind and caring Nanny to support them in the move on a temporary basis from March to mid‑June. They are looking for a calm, proactive and caring person to provide fun and engaging activities for the children, explore Bath and help the family become familiar with the beautiful city and what it has to offer.

The 4‑year‑old girl starts school in September and they would appreciate any support in getting her ready such as continuing the letter writing and number recognition she has been doing in nursery. She enjoys anything creative, crafts, drawing, baking as well as unicorns and fairies. The 1‑year‑old boy loves music, dancing, singing and climbing.

Your duties will be all childcare related: providing fun activities at home as well as exploring the outdoor environment, preparing healthy snacks and lunch with occasional dinner prep for the children, and keeping the main home areas and their room tidy of toys at the end of the day. The parents would like you to encourage the children to help you with tidying the toys etc. Someone with a muck‑in attitude would be greatly appreciated, and if you can see that the children’s laundry needs doing, then to use your initiative to help in the smooth running of the home.

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience level: 2 years in childcare
  • Details of any training needed: paediatric first aid
  • Details of any qualifications needed: Level 2 in childcare or above

Schedule:

  • Days of work: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (can be a little flexible).
