Job Summary

5 day week part time Nanny/Housekeeper required in Upper Basildon Berkshire 867133.
This busy family is looking for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to help run their home. The role consists of 50% housekeeping and 50% nanny care. The days required are Monday‑Friday and the hours are 1.30pm‑5.30pm: 1.30pm‑3.30pm for housekeeping, 3.30pm‑5.30pm for nanny care. The children are ages 4 and 8. The right person will be kind, energetic, and organised.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping duties, including family laundry, ironing, putting away and cleaning/tidying during the two hours when the children are at school.
• Providing nanny care from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

Schedule

• Days: Monday‑Friday
• Hours: 1.30pm‑5.30pm (1.30pm‑3.30pm housekeeping, 3.30pm‑5.30pm nanny care)
• Start Date: January 2026

Pay

£18‑£20 gross per hour (£18,720‑£20,800 gross per annum).
Position: Permanent.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years working with children of the same age.
• Childcare qualifications not essential.
• Valid DBS on the update service.
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer and must be immediately contactable.
• Driver\’s licence required.
• No pets in the household.
