We are a family of five moving from London to Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, looking for a warm and loving Nanny/Housekeeper to work in a "Mother’s Help" style dynamic. The role balances childcare and household management in collaboration with the mother, aiming for a long‑term partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging activities for the children during afternoons and school holidays.
- Following a structured routine for the younger baby.
- Preparing and cooking meals for the children.
- Managing household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing through an organised system.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High energy, proactive, and excellent communicator.
- Minimum 2+ years experience working with children of similar ages.
- Childcare qualifications essential.
- Up‑to‑date DBS on the update service and a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be the current or last employer and be immediately contactable.
- Preferred driver with own vehicle; a car will be available on duty.
- Comfortable with a small friendly dog.
Job Details:
- Salary: £18‑£20 gross per hour (£39,312‑£43,680 annual).
- Hours: 42 hours a week – Mon/Wed/Fri 7:30‑6:30, Tue 7:30‑12:30, Thu 2:30‑6:30.
- Days: Monday to Friday.
- Start date: End of May or start of June.
- Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
