A 2 day week Nanny is required in Banbury, Oxfordshire. A family is looking for a part-time nanny/educator for 2 days a week to support their 5-year-old boy. The nanny will work Mondays and Fridays for 4 or 5 hours each day. The child is home-educated through play and the family seeks a staff member who understands the Steiner approach and can engage the child in holistic development through play, skill building and confidence building. They are looking for someone who can support them long-term and become an integral part of their family.
Responsibilities
- Support the child’s holistic development through play.
- Engage with the child using the Steiner educational approach.
- Be an integral part of the family’s daily routine over a long term.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years working with children of the same age (5 years old).
- Childcare qualifications (essential).
- Up-to-date DBS on the update service.
- 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer and must be immediately contactable.
Working Conditions
- Days: Mondays and Fridays.
- Hours: 4 or 5 hours a day (2 days a week).
- Job Start Date: ASAP.
- Pay: £20 – £25 gross per hour.
- Driver’s licence: Yes.
- Pets: No.
- Position: Permanent.
