Job Overview

Fantastic new role! Nanny required in Newbury Berkshire 867245.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide care for a 9-month-old and a 2.5-year-old, primarily focusing on the younger child during the day.
• Drop‑off and pick‑up your 2.5‑year‑old at nursery from 8:30‑9:00 am until 4 pm.
• Plan, cook and serve age‑appropriate meals.
• Arrange and supervise fun and learning activities at home and in the local area.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare.
• Follow the family’s routines and support their developmental goals.

Working Conditions

• Days: 3 days a week (flexible choice of days).
• Hours: 6:30 am – 5:30 pm.
• Start date: February 2024.
• Salary: £18–£20 gross per hour depending on experience.
• Vehicle: Must be a licensed driver; a car will be provided for duty.
• Pets: One friendly dog in the household.
• Position type: Permanent.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years experience caring for children 9 months to 2½ years.
• Childcare qualification (essential).
• Up‑to‑date DBS (on the update service) and 12‑hour paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• At least two professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
