A lovely opportunity to support a family with their beautiful 7-week-old twin girls, who are thriving and doing well. The family are now looking for some overnight support to help them get a little more rest and feel confident and supported during these early weeks.
The twins are combination fed, and mum is keen to continue breastfeeding for as long as possible. She plans to breastfeed at least once overnight, with both babies also happy to take bottles, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting a flexible feeding routine.
The family would love to find someone with experience caring for multiples who can offer gentle guidance, reassurance and practical tips around feeding, winding and settling two little ones overnight. The girls were born at 37 weeks and have been doing well; however, mum would particularly welcome someone with some clinical or hospital experience, as this would help her feel extra reassured.
The ideal candidate will be warm, knowledgeable and confident caring for newborn twins, with an up-to-date understanding of NHS guidance and safe sleep practices. Above all, the family are looking for someone who can provide calm, nurturing support, share their experience and help make life a little easier for everyone as they settle into life with their twins.
Job Start Date: 26th October 2026
Contract End: After 6 weeks
Location: Sanderstead, South Croydon
Gross hourly Rate: £27ph gross
Hours of work: 9pm -6am
Nights required: 2 Nights a week (ideally Monday and Wednesday)
Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum).
